Our History

Ellis & Levine Engineering, LLC (ELE) was founded in 2014 by James Ellis and Alan Levine, two highly respected engineering executives with over 40 years of individual experience in the industry. With a shared vision and deep roots in civil, structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineering, they established ELE to offer clients more than just technical calculations — they wanted to bring practical, common-sense consulting to the forefront of every project.

Built on a foundation of trust, expertise, and responsiveness, ELE was created to be a true full-service engineering firm. The company provides a comprehensive range of services, including civil engineering, structural design, environmental consulting, geotechnical investigations, and construction materials testing.

To support quality and efficiency, ELE operates its own in-house geotechnical laboratory and maintains a fleet of drilling rigs, allowing for greater control over timelines and testing processes.
